Route 1 Route 1 is a fairly short route connecting Pallet Town and Viridian City. It is an intertwining path passing through many patches of grass, but can be bypassed quickly when going south.

Viridian City Viridian City is a city which has connections to Routes 1, 2 and 22. This city has a small lake and various small paths. It is surrounded by trees and has only a small number of buildings within. Subforum:

Route 2 Route 2 is a long route between Viridian City & Pewter, seperated into two areas by Viridian Forest. It has a small patch of grass in the north, and a small path in the south. However, it does have a long path on the right of the route which bypasses Viridian Forest. In this path is access to the Diglett's Cave and has a small house. Subforums:

Route 3 Route 3 is a mountainside route which runs along the north of Kanto, connecting Pewter City to Mt. Moon. It has a few patches of grass and cliff-faces to navigate and trainers covering the entire route.

Route 4 Route 4 is a long route that can only be fully accessed by going through Mt. Moon. There is a left area on one side of Mt. Moon with a Pokémon Center while on the other side, this route has a small patch of grass near the eastern exit and various trainers placed among the various cliff areas. Subforum:

Cerulean City Cerulean City is a city that borders on the top coast of Kanto, beneath a penninsula. In this city, there are few noteworthy areas, but it does give access to the special Cerulean Cave after obtaining all the badges. Subforums:

Route 5 Route 5 is a very small route south of Cerulean City. This route can be accessed as a direct path through stairs or through a small patch of tall grass that connects to a house where the Pokémon Day Care Center. Subforum:

Route 6 Route 6 is a fairly short route connecting Saffron City to Vermilion City. It has a lot of grass and a small pond, but the grass can be bypassed easily by following the road. Like Route 5, it has access to a long underground path which runs under Saffron City

Vermilion City Vermilion City is located on the southern part of the main area of Kanto. This city has a dock in which you can gain access to the SS Anne. In addition to that, it houses the Pokémon Fan Club. Subforums:
