Route 2 is a long route between Viridian City & Pewter, seperated into two areas by Viridian Forest. It has a small patch of grass in the north, and a small path in the south. However, it does have a long path on the right of the route which bypasses Viridian Forest. In this path is access to the Diglett's Cave and has a small house.

Diglett's Cave Diglett's Cave is a long cave going between Pewter City and Route 11. This cave is a relatively straight forward diagonal line, filled with Diglett and Dugtrio.
