Step 2: Meet the Guild Council

What is the guild council members purpose?

After the merger of the Artists & Graphics Guild with the Cosplayers Guild, we have become even bigger than before. As such, council positions have become necessary so that we can keep running awesome activities for you all here without having one person overwhelmed trying to manage it all. So we gathered a group of people to overview different activities in this sections and also the council is in charge of discussing every change the guilds might have.

Guild Leader
Status: 1 position available

This person will be in charge of the guild and to help out the everything that has to do with the guild. They will also list the roles and set up the staff for this guild. They are will need to be a graphic mod thou since they will help with the guild graphics.

Tutorials & Assistant
Status: 1 position available

This person will be in charge of the Tuts and Assist when is needed.

Artists & Graphics Council Assistant
Status: 1 position available

This person will Assist when is needed. They will also help with Graphics when need.

Cosplay Master - Eternal Knight
Status: 1 position available

Game Host
Status: 1 positions available

This person would be in charge of games like "say something nice about the signature above you", "caption that art!", "guess that cosplay character", "say the word that first comes to mind about this picture", etc. Basically all games that are related to arts and cosplay where we could learn things and have fun at the same time.

Challenge Host
Status: 1 positions available

This person will be in charge of all challenges created jointly with Diana, will assist Diana on challenges and will create new ones and will encourage people to finish complete '100 icon challenge'.

Professor
Status: 1 positions available

This positions is required for a person who has an intermediate knowledge of graphics or cosplay because this person will explain to students how to do things will assign homework and will also critique the work in order to help improve the student.

Contest Host
Status: 2 positions available

This person will be in charge of creating various contests within the guild (example: LIMS, Artist Contests, basically anything that requires voting and where winners will be chosen. Each contest may have different rules, but all things that require members to compete will fall under the contest host's jurisdiction. However, that is not to say that they are the only person who can run contests. Other members may as well, with permission from Guild Leader it's just the contest host is specifically in charge of making sure contests are always run every once in a while.

Tutorials Writer
Status: 2 positions available

This position will be in charge of writing tutorials. Tutorials are step-by-step directions that, unlike a class, is posted in one go (usually with screencaptures to make things more easier to understand). The tutorials can range from beginner or advanced level, whatever the person is comfortable sharing! Ideally they should be able to share at least one to two tutorials a month. I know they are not easy to put together, which is why the number doesn't need to be too high, especially considering time constraints. They can also share tips and tricks that they would like to share, doesn't have to be full on step-by-step tutorial every time.

Workshops
Status: 2 positions available

The person in charge of workshops will run sessions like a class, but the difference is everyone will have to turn in a piece of art and everyone else will critique each other's work in the hopes that everyone can learn from one another! Workshops can either be general or cover specific areas of study (e.g. GIF workshop, coloring workshop, signature workshop, cosplay wig workshop etc)

• You can apply to multiple positions but you're required to monthly report the guild leader of all activities you've created during that month in order to keep running the guilds.
• You don't need to be an expert to apply but it would be great if you are knowledgeable of the position you're applying.
• These positions will be open until they're all filled so keep watching this thread in order to know if a new positions is available.
• Even if we have these positions, ANYONE can create tutorials, classes, etc these positions is to keep the sections running smoothly, if you're interested and you are not part of the council
• just PM the leader to get the 'ok' on your project.
