Equipment:
-Keyblade: Ventus's key blade is named Wayward Wind. Like all key blades it has the power to unlock things and sometimes undo magical curses. They can act as swords and cut things even though they do not appear to be sharp. It looks alittle different from most since it is designed to be wielded backhanded in that the black handle is offset and the guard is aligned differently. Key blades are effective against creature connected to hearts and darkness like Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters. They key blade can also summon his Key blade Armor that protects him from the effects of darkness and a Key blade Glider that he flies around on for transportation. Keyblades are also good for blocking incoming attacks if timed right, often even stunning the attacker.
Key chains can be attached to a keyblade to change their combat abilities. These are often received after accomplishing something meaningful to the wielder sometimes involving receiving a token. Ventus's Key chains include:
-Frolic Flame: Received after befriending Lea and based on his Frisbee. A well-balanced key chain that gives a slight boost to all stats.
-Lost Memory: Received after remembering his mistreatment at Master Xehanort's hands. It has long reach and increased chance of landing critical hit and increased damage when landing critical hits.

-Hyperdrive: Obtained after befriending Experiment 626 (ata Stich) and saving a space-ships engine from being destroyed. Long reach and boost in strength and magic.
-Pixie Petal: Gained after befriending Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and the lost boys. Has a poor reach bot a large boost to magic and more damage when landing a critical.
-Sweetstack: Gained after making lots of ice creme. Boosts strength and guarantees critical hits.
-Royal Radiance: Gained after completing the Mirage Arena. Is the 2nd strongest key chain Ventus can gain. Has long reach and great boost to strength and magic. -Ultima Weapon: Gained during battle at the Mirage Arena. Most powerful key chain Ventus has giving a large boost to all stats and long reach.
Ventus combat style with the Keyblade is unique among Keyblade wielders in that he holds his Keyblade in a backhanded style. He uses his small frame to his advantage using his speed and acrobatics to his advantage. Some of the more techniques include Quick Blitz where he does a jumping attack striking down rapidly, Stun Edge where he jumps into the air striking down creating a small shockwave with the Keyblade, Blitz where he does a series of jumping attacks in rapid succession, Sliding Dash where he rushes an enemy striking them, Sonic Blade where he does a series of shorter charging attacks in rapid succession, Stike Raid where he throws the Keyblade a distance to strike foes, Aerial Slam where he hits an opponent into the air only to jump into the air with them and strike them again before striking them a last time back to the ground, the iconic Ars Arcanum where he unleashes a flurry of powerful attacks.
After landing several hits Ventus builds the momentum to a "Finisher". Ventus's first Finisher includes a flurry of quick attacks, but also has different finishes that use his magic or D-Links.
Wayfinger: The Wayfinger is a magic item that allows the user to forge and preform Dimension Links or D-Links. Aqua created these for herself as well as Ventus and Terra. This allows the user to use the powers from someone that the user has a close bond with. This can change the users abilities to match the abilities of the person he is linked with. This are not always one-for-one copies, especially in the case of non-fighters where it seems to base powers off of the personality and other characteristics of the person. Each one has finishes that deal a powerful blow and ends the D-Link. Using these goes drain the Wayfinger's power (often also called D-Link) and it just recharge between uses. When using a D-Link the user has health temporarily restored but will go back to how much health he previously had when the D-Links times out, is defeated, or he cancels it. The major downside is that Ventus is limited to only using powers for that D-Link while using it.
-Terra: Increases strength when low on health and can block incoming attacks better. Can use Quick Blitz, Sonic Blade, Stun Edge, Sonic Blade, and Binding Strike abilities and cast Zero Gravity, Zero Gravira, Cure abilities and spells. Basic Finisher include a powerful overhead strike while with the LandBreaker finisher the user raises his Keybalde into the air causing rocks to burst from the ground to strike the foe.
-Aqua: Takes reduced damage from Magic-based attacks. Can get one free heal per transformation if he would be defeated in battle. Can use Fire Strike ability and cast Blizzara, Fire, Fira, Mine Square, Thundara, Magnera, and Cura. Basic Finisher summons two magic orbs that around the user and strikes nearby foes. The
Magic Volley finisher summons magic orbs and the user hits them with his keyblade to strike foes at a distance.
-Mickey: Healing and light-based attacks and allows for short distance teleportation. Can use the Sliding Dash, Binding Strike abilities and cast Mini, Mine Shield, Cura and a unique spell called Sign of Faith that summons tornadoes of light energy. Finishers include Lightcharge where a Mickey Emblem appears on the ground and the user spins around charging at targets and Faithcharge where a Micky Emblem appears on the ground and creates orbs of light appear that home in on enemies.
-Donald: Boosts magic power and reduced damage received from magic attacks. Can cast Firaga, Fission Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Fire Dash, Fire Surge, Ignite, and Cura. Finishers include Donald Flare and the improved form Cosmic Donald where he conjures many explosive fireworks and launches them at several foes.
-Goofy: Takes less damage from psychical attacks and can deal more stunning blows against enemies. Abilities used in this form are Sliding Dash, Strike Raid, Stun Edge, Confusion Strike, Freeze Raid, Confusion Strike, Strike Raid, and Sonic Blade. Finishers include Goofy Spin where he does a spin attack and Goofy Turbo where he launches himself forward doing a spinning attack drilling into foes.
-Snow White: Acess to an assortment of spells and attacks based on the Dwarves and faster magic recovery. Has Treasure Raid, which works like Strike Raid (Grump). And can cast Sleepy (Sleepy), Cura (Doc), Aero (Sneezy), Mini (Dopey), Confetti (Happy), And Warp which can erase opponents but most stronger opponents seem to be able to resist it (Bashful). Finishers include Sweet Memory where he creates a powerful whirlwind with flowers in it and Sweet Seven where he summons jewels and shoots them at enemies followed by swiping the Keyblade and creating a shockwave.
-Cinderella: Allows faster recovery from negative status effects and gradual healing. Can cast Wish Circle where after a short charge up he spins around with raw magic on the end of his Keyblade to strike foes, Enchanted Step where he creates a magic barrier and charges forward slamming it into foes, and Magic Mending where he can heal himself and those around him. Finishers include Dream Sparkle where he shoots homing balls of light that damage foes and cause them to levitate for a short time and momentarily boosts Ventus's attack strength and Miracle Dance where he creates a tornado of light magic around himself followed by shooting homing balls of light that levitate enemies struck by it for a short time.
-Zack: Single high-damage attacks. Also increases strength and blocking. Can use Fire Strike, Quick Blitz, Fire Strike, Quick Blitz, Slot Edge (which is basically like Stun Edge) and can cast Stop. Finishers include Hero's Entrance where the user does a jumping attack and hits the ground causing a shockwave and Hero's Pride where he shoots a beam of magic from his Keyblade then teleports a short distance to the foe and slashes several times.
-Experiment 626 (Stich): Increased attack power. Can use Stun Edge and Thunder Surge abilities as well as the Thundaga Shot ability that consists of a burst of lightning being fired from the Keyblade's tip at a targeted enemy, while the remnants of the lightning electrocute and damage surrounding foes who are close enough. Can cast Thundara, Thundaga, Zero Gravira, and Cura. Finishers include Random Beam which is a bean that can bounce off of objects and Ohana Beat which uses blasts of sound to damage foes.
-Peter Pan: Ventus will fall slower do to having some of Peter Pan's flying magic and will attack more rapidly. Increases jumping distance and attack speed. Can use Blitz, Quick Blitz, Sliding Dash, and Confusion Strike abilities and cast Zero Gravira and Cura. Finishers include Swordbill where Ventus gains a green aura slowing down time around him so he can rapidly strike foes and Barrel Roll where Ventus spins in the air striking foes.
-Pete: Can use Binding Strike, Confusion Strike, Binding Strike, Confusion Strike, and Aerial Slam abilities and cast Confetti. Finishers include Fruit Shot where he summons a giant bouncing pineapple that hit foes and Rumble Rave where he summons a racing cart to try and run into foes with.
-Vanitas: Has the abilities Dark Spiral where he charges forward covered in light energy (despite the name) to strike foe and Dark Splicer where Ventus teleports to the enemy and slows down time while striking the foe several times. It is the only D-Link with a Shot Lock, in this case Dark Link, where Ventus summons three crystals in a triangle formation and projects a rays of light energy (again, despite the name) that converge into one large ray that shoots the foe. It's finisher is Last Word which creates three beams of crystallized light, followed by a powerful homing slash of light energy. Due to Ventus's disdain for Vanitas he usually does not use this D-Link.
Other items: Ventus often carries consumable items, often purchased from Moogles, to aid him when needed. However many of them do not come cheap so he has to be selective about when to use them.
-Potion: Heals some damage. Hi-Potions heal more damage while Mega-Potions heal all damage.
-Ether: Recovers some Focus (mental energy) to allow Shot Locks to be used. Mega-Ether completely recovers Focus.
-Panacea: Removes negative status effects (such as Poison, Confuse, and Blindness).
-Elixir: Heals damage and restores Focus. Megalixir does that plus restores the Wayfingers magic to allow D-Links to be used again.
-Ballon Letter: Recovers Wayfinger's power to use D-Links.
-Various Ice Creams can be used to instantly triggure a Command Style (Honeybunny for Fever Pitch, Bueno Volcano for Firestorm, Snow Bear for Diamond Dust, Spark Lemon for Thunderbolt, Goofy Parfait for Cyclone, Sugary Skies for Sky Climber, Double Crunch for Wingblade, and Daisy Sorbet for Rhythem Mixer).
Powers and Abilities: Like most Keyblade Wielders Ventus has enchanced speed and strength, in his case speed is his specialty. Some common moves include Dodge Roll where he quickly rolls out of harms way, Air Slide to gain a burst of speed in midair, , Reversal where he attempts quickly whirl around foes to strike from behind, and Homing Slide where he slides on the ground to close distance between himself and a foe.
Ventus has an intermediate understanding of many common magics that key blade wielders commonly have. These use up a finate about of magic and thier more powerful forms use up more magic. Keyblade wielders normally channel their magic through their Keyblades to enhance them, but can cast them without a Keyblade, albert weaker. Some magics can be combined with Keyblade attacks for special moves and with Finishers. For example one magic Finisher Ventus has is Explosion where he create a blast of magic in all directions around himself. These include:
-Fire: Launches a fire ball at foes. Enchanced forms include Fire and Firaga. And Fission Firaga has a much wider effect area to hit multiple opponents. Crawling Fire is a slow moving fireball that can hit more then one opponent in a line. Ignite is a spell that only hits a single foe for a continious burn. Finally Mega Flare creates a massive explosion of fire covering an entire area.
When combined with Keyblade attacks it can make Fire Dash, where Ventus briefly cloaks himself in flame while charging at foes, Fire Surge where fire revolves around the user to damage foes that come to near, and Fire Strike where Ventus lights his Keyblade on fire and throws it at foes. He also uses it with his Heat Slash 1 finishes where he blasts foes with fire while doing a spin attack. Also has Fire Glide where, when gliding through the air, he surrounds himself fire fire to damage any foes to close.
-Blizzard: Creates a chunk of ice that can hit more then one foe if grouped together. Upgraded forms are Blizzara and Blizzaga. Deep Freeze can encase enemies in ice if it hits.
When combined with Keyblade attacks it can make Freeze Raid, where Ventus throws his Keybalde enchanted with ice to strike and freeze foes.
Ventus can also do Ice Slide where he cloaks himself in ice magic and slides on the ground to close distance between himself and a foe.
-Lightning: Calls down lightning to strike enemies around the caster. Enhanced versions are Thundara and Thundaga.
When combined with the Keyblade it can make Thunder Surge that cloaks Ventus in electricity while he charges foes. He also uses it for his Ramuh's Judgement finisher where he cloaks himself in electricity while striking the foe at the same time and following up by jumping attacks zapping the foe again.
He also has Thunder Roll where he rolls out of the way of an attack while electrifying himself with electricity to dissuade anyone from attacking or getting to close.
-Cure: Can heal damage to himself or others. Enhanced versions are Cura and Curaga. Also used with his Heal Strike finisher where he heals while doing a spin attack at the same time. Also knows Renewal Block where, when he successfully blocks an incoming attack with with his Keyblade, he uses the force to heal a small amount of damage.
-Esuna: Can heal non-damage status effects like Poison, Confuse, and Blindness.
-Mines: Creates a magical trap on the ground that explode when opponents touch them. Mine Shield creates a row of them in-front of the caster while Mine Square makes them around the caster.
-Zero Gravity: Causes nearby enemies to become weightless and drift in the air for a short time. Enhanced forms are Zero Gravira and Zero Graviga each which do it for lightly longer times. Transcendence is the strongest from of this that both lifts a large number of foes then throws them with great force.
-Magnet: Creates a magic ball in the air that draws enemies to it. Enchanced versions are Magnera and Magnega each extending the time it lasts. When combined with the Keyblade Ventus preforms Magnet Spiral where he draws foes towards himself while striking them with the Keyblade, and Collision Magnet where he draws in a single foe them sends that foe flying into others.
-Bind: Can prevent nearby foes from being able to move from their spot for a short time. When continued with his Keyblade Ventus preforms Binding Strike where he throws his Keyblade and those hit with it cannot move from their spot for a short time.
-Aero: Summons a powerful gust of wind to blow opponents in the air. Enhanced forms are Aerora and Aeroga. Tornado, as it's name implies, conjures a tornado for a short time that the user can control. When combined with his Keyblade Ventus preforms Wind Raid where he throws his Keyblade and the wind guides it to stike more then one opponent and Tornado Strike where he raised his Keyblade into the air a powerful burst of wind from a series of raid whirlwinds blasts opponents in the air.
Ventus also uses Aero magic with some of his finishes such as Air Flair 1 and the more powerful Air Flair 2 where he knocks several enemies into the air often stunning them. And with Air Flair 3 and finally Air Flair 4 it does all of that with a spin attack added at the end. One last Aero based finisher is Stratosphere where after preforming a few downward strikes Ventus jumps high in the air and dive down followed by a powerful blast of wind that strikes a large area.
-Ventus does know some light spells like Faith that sounds out colums of lights to strike foes and heal some damage. When combined with his Keyblade it can make Spark Raid where Ventus throws his Keyblade and when it strikes a foe it creates beams of light around that foe that move outward from the target to hit other foes as well as Salvation where Ventus does a spinning attack releasing many columns of light quickly and healing some damage to himself.
-Mini: Can shrink nearby foes for a short period of time, though many magical foes seem to be able to resist it.
-Blackout: Temporarily causes blindness on nearby enemies.
-Confetti: Involves throwing stuff in the air to celebrate somehow increasing chance of critical hit afterwards.
-Ventus knows some mind magic like Confuse which cause Confusion on an opponent making them forget who they are fighting and attack their own allies as well as Sleep which can cause nearby foes to fall asleep.. Those with stronger minds seem to be able to resist these.
When combined with his Keyblade Ventus can preform Confusion Strike where he throws his Keyblade and it inflicts Confusion on the foe on contact.
-Poison: Poisons nearby enemies causing them to take continuous damage. Also combines with a keyblade attack to make Poison Edge where Ventus does a jumping attack striking downwards and foes hit by his Keyblade are poisoned. Also knows Poison Block where, if he successfully blocks an incoming attack with his Keyblade, he can poison the attacking foe.
-Ventus knows some time magic like Slow that slows downs nearby enemies and Stop that freezes a group of enemies close together for 4 seconds. If the frozen enemy is attacked all damage is taken after the spell wears off. Stop has two upgraded forms in Stopra and Stopga that freeze for opponent for 6 and 8 seconds respectively.
When combined with his Keyblade Ventus preforms Time Splicer where he uses Stop and manipulates time to teleport near each enemy striking them several times. He also uses it for his Twisted Hour finisher where he throws his Keyblade repeatedly with a chance of inflicting either Slow or Stop on them.
Ventus can also glide through the air which he learned from watching Peter Pan and the other kids in Neverland.
Shot Locks
These allow the user to use their mental energies to "lock onto" one foe or multiple foes. It takes a few seconds to this but once it is done it slows down time and allows the user to strike the foe or foes. If targeting multiple foes the damage is dispersed among them. Since these use alot of mental energy, or Focus, they cannot be used often.
-Meteor Shower: Unleashes lots of energy blasts.
-Flame Salvo: Launches lots of fireballs.
-Chaos Snake: Uses energy blasts that go in a zigzag patters to strike foes.
-Ragnarok: Fires a cluster of energy shots from the tip of his Key blade.
-Thunderstorm: Releases quick electrical blasts from the key blade.
-Bio Barrage: Launches poisonous blobs of goo at enemies.
-Pulse Bomb: Launches energy balls that explode on contact. This one can be charged longer then most for more damage.
-Photon Charge: Charges enemies while cloaked in light.
-Absolute Zero: Charges enemies while cloaked in freezing.
-Lightning Ray: Charges enemies while cloaked in electricity.
-Multivortex: Ventus's strongest Shot lock. Uses powerful blasts of air and teleworking while slashing foes with blades of energy.
-Dark Link: An unusual shot lock that Ventus can only use when Dimension Linked with Vanitas. Shoots a single powerful blast of energy at foe, which is similar to Vanitas' Dark Cannon attack. Since Ventus does not like to Dimension Link with Vanitas he doesn't use this often.
